Hector Collects Pennies for Arkansas Rice Depot

Mrs. Brenda Pearce’s third grade class helps to unload the most recent delivery to the school from the Arkansas Rice Depot. The food delivered will be used for the Food for Kids Backpack Program which provides snacks and food for children to take home on the weekend. The Hector Elementary participated in the Arkansas Rice Depot’s Great Arkansas Penny Hunt as a fund-raiser for the project. Mrs. Pearce’s classroom raised the most money and is presenting the students’ donations to the driver. Each student will receive a t-shirt and the class will receive a nacho party.
