SchoolReach
January 01, 2008
I am very excited about our new SchoolReach phone system. This past school year we have found many uses for this new system. The program is a web based system that allows us to create calling lists to contact parents. So far it has been used for bad weather, announcing when report cards would be sent home, and other general announcements. It was also used the day of the tornado to let parents know that everyone was alright.
At this time the decision has been made to NOT put work numbers into the system. The program is voice activated so unless the parent that the message was meant for answers the phone they would not hear it. So, only home numbers and cell numbers will be used in the system.
If you have not been receiving messages please contact the appropriate school office to give them your correct numbers so you will be contacted in the future.
The SchoolReach system is a wonderful opportunity for parents to be more informed. I hope you feel it is a benefit to you and your family.
If you have questions about the program please feel free to call.
Best regards,
Karen C. Smith
Superintendent
